Pay as you go
More than 25,000 measured visitors a month? Pay only for the ones above it, less for each as you grow, with a monthly cap you choose.
Free covers 25,000 measured visitors a month. Run more split tests than that, and pay as you go keeps new ones starting, instead of waiting for the 1st.
Every account gets 25,000 measured visitors a month for free. If you need more, turn on pay as you go: you pay only for the measured visitors above 25,000, and each one costs less as you grow. Nothing is ever charged unless you turn it on.
Think of buying in bulk
A shop gives you the first 25 apples free. The next ones cost $1 each. After 100 apples, each extra one costs 25 cents. The cheaper price only counts for the apples after 100, so the first ones never cost more just because you bought a lot.
Pay as you go works the same way, in bands. Each band's price applies only to the measured visitors inside it.
When you need it
Measured visitors are people who entered a running split test this month. At 25,000, new split tests wait for the 1st of next month. With pay as you go on, they start right away. Before vs after and adoption impact checks never count, so they stay free (plans).

- Free, on every account.
- 25,000 to 100,000
- $1.00 per 1,000.
- 100,000 to 1 million

What a month costs
- 100,000 measured visitors
- $75
- 500,000 measured visitors
- $175
- 2 million measured visitors
- $400
- 10 million measured visitors
- $1,200
For example, 500,000: the first 25,000 are free. The next 75,000 cost $1.00 per 1,000, which is $75. The other 400,000 cost $0.25 per 1,000, which is $100. Together: $175.
Your monthly cap
- When you turn it on, you choose the most you want to spend in a month. If you don't say, it's $100.
- At the cap, it works like the free limit: running impact checks keep measuring until their verdict, and new split tests wait for the 1st of next month.
- You are never charged above your cap.
- The count starts again on the 1st of each month (UTC).
How to turn it on
- 1Open Plan in the menu on the left.
- 2Press Turn on pay as you go. It opens an email to [email protected].
- 3Write the monthly cap you want, or leave the $100 suggestion, and send it.
- 4Needlr turns it on and writes back. From then on you get one invoice a month, on the Plan page (billing).
Owners handle paying for Needlr, so ask an owner to send the email (roles).
Change the cap, or turn it off
Press Change my cap on the Plan page, or write to [email protected]. When pay as you go is off, you're back to 25,000 free measured visitors a month. Nothing is deleted, and running impact checks keep measuring.
More than 10 million a month
Bigger sites get an annual contract instead: from $10,000 a year, with a lower price per visitor, invoicing and a DPA. Press Write to us on the Plan page.
Common mistakes
- Turning it on for before vs after or adoption impact checks. They never use measured visitors. You don't need it for them.
- Worrying about a surprise bill. The cap is a hard stop. At the cap, new split tests just wait.
- Setting the cap too low for a busy month. If split tests keep waiting, raise the cap with Change my cap.
What the video says
Free covers 25,000 measured visitors a month. Run more split tests than that, and pay as you go keeps new ones starting, instead of waiting for the 1st.
It's priced in bands, like tax brackets. Each band's price applies only to the visitors inside it, so growing never makes your earlier visitors cost more.
Per thousand measured visitors: one dollar from 25,000 to 100,000, 25 cents up to a million, and 10 cents up to 10 million. Above that, an annual contract.
In real months: 100,000 visitors cost 75 dollars, half a million 175, two million 400, and ten million 1,200. Before vs after and adoption checks still cost nothing.
You set a monthly spend cap, 100 dollars unless you pick another. At the cap, it works like the free limit: running checks finish, new split tests wait. Never a charge above it.
For now, press the button on the Plan page and send the email. Needlr turns it on and sends one invoice a month. Keep shipping, and keep proving what moved the needle.
