Every email Needlr sends
The full list: results, KPI health, shipped changes, plan and usage, your account and your agents, with who gets each and when.
Needlr emails you rarely, and only when it matters: a result, a broken KPI, a plan limit, or something you asked for. Here is the full list.
Needlr sends few emails, and each one has one job. Here is every one: what it says, who gets it, and when.
Think of a doorbell
A good doorbell rings when someone is at the door. It doesn't ring every hour to say the door is still there.
Needlr's emails are doorbells. Each one means there's something to look at, and it has one button that takes you there.
Results
To every Owner and Editor, a few minutes after the verdict, once per check:
- Result: Improved for “…”, Result: Got worse for “…” or Result: No clear effect for “…”: an impact check reached its verdict. It shows both rates, and has a button to open the check (verdicts).
- Adoption: Target reached for “…”, Below target or Near target: an adoption check's window ended. It shows the share of active people who used the feature, and the target.
- Result: Stopped · it hurt for “…”: a split test your coding agent asked for stopped early, because the new version was clearly hurting the KPI or a guardrail KPI. Everyone sees the current version again.
KPI health
To every Owner and Editor:
- Your KPI “…” stopped firing: a KPI that fires every day had almost no hits in the last 24 hours. Running checks that use it are on hold (KPI health).
- Your KPI “…” is firing again: it counts hits again, and those checks carry on. Nothing to do.
Shipped changes
To every Owner and Editor (shipped changes):
- “…” isn't on your site yet: after Ready for verification, most visitors' pages still showed the original. Visitors keep getting version B.
- Visitors see the original of “…” again: after Needlr stopped applying a change, most visitors saw the original. One click applies it through Needlr again.
- Your shipped changes go back to the original on …: a paid plan ended. Sent that day, then again 7 days and 1 day before the changes go back.
Plan and usage
To every Owner and Editor (plans):
- 80% of monthly measured visitors used, and then Monthly measured visitors reached: at 20,000 and at 25,000 free measured visitors in a month. Nothing is charged. At 25,000, running checks keep measuring, and new split tests wait for the 1st of next month, or until you turn on pay as you go (pay as you go).
- Action needed: update your card for Needlr: only for accounts that pay for an older plan by card. A payment failed and wasn't fixed within 7 days (billing).
Your account
To you only:
- Confirm your email for Needlr: after you sign up. The link works once, for 24 hours.
- You're on the Needlr waitlist: after you confirm your email, while new teams are let in a few at a time.
- You're in: your Needlr account is ready: your account is open. Sign in and look around the demo project.
- … invited you to … on Needlr: someone asked you to join their team. The invite works for 72 hours (roles).
- Reset your Needlr password: you asked for a new password. The link works for 30 minutes (sign-in help).
- Someone tried to sign up with your email: someone tried to make a new account with your address. Nothing changed. If it was you, just sign in.
Coding agents
- Your agents this week: … proven wins, … hurt: on Mondays, to Owners and Editors of accounts with coding agents connected, when the agents asked about at least one change that week (agents).
Good to know
- Viewers don't get the team emails above. Only Owners and Editors do.
- Turn any group off on the Team page, under Your emails: Results, Alerts (KPI health and shipped changes), Plan and usage, and the agents' weekly email. It's just for you, in that account. The emails under Your account always come.
- The demo project never sends emails about its checks.
- None of these emails ask for your password or your authenticator code.
What the video says
Needlr emails you rarely, and only when it matters: a result, a broken KPI, a plan limit, or something you asked for. Here is the full list.
When an impact check reaches its verdict, owners and editors get the result: improved, got worse or no clear effect. Adoption checks say target reached, below target or close.
If a KPI stops firing, you get one email, and another when it fires again. Shipped changes have their own: a failed verification, or the original coming back.
At 80% and 100% of your free measured visitors each month, you get a heads up. Nothing is ever charged unless you turn on pay as you go.
Then the account emails: confirm your email, you're on the waitlist, you're in, a team invite, a password reset, and a note if someone signs up with your address.
Connected coding agents add a Monday digest of what they shipped. Every email has one button to the right page. Read the subject, and you know the next move.
